For Sale
We put the condo up for sale on Monday. Forty-eight hours and two showings later, it's under contract! That wasn't hard at all. I was anticipating many hectic days of cleaning and hauling the pups and Isaac out of the place for showings. Phew.
Let the house-hunt begin!

Seven Weeks
Isaac is seven weeks old today! He weighs in at 12 pounds 3.5 ounces. If I had to use one word to describe my little guy, it would be "smiley." He loves to interact with Mama and Daddy! Smiling, cooing, and almost laughing. I cannot wait until we hear his laugh! We love him so.

BOB's Maiden Voyage
Isaac was a little apprehensive about his first ride in the BOB...
... it turned out just fine--he slept through the entire walk.
In other news, I have a long road to making a full recovery ahead of me. But that's alright, like everything else in my life right now, I'll take it day by day.

My Six-Week-Old Valentine
My valentine weighs in at 11 pounds 12 ounces today! This chubby cherub is happily eating every two hours as of late. He is waking up to the world more and more--chatting and smiling and so alert.
Here's what Isaac has to say about Valentine's Day:

New Sleeper
Thanks to Great Grandma Shirley for the new sleeper!
Isaac loves his Daddy!
I think the feeling is mutual.

Baby Talk
For the grandparents!
This is a long one since Daddy came in to talk halfway through. Isaac is one happy, chatty baby when we hit the changing table. He loves his nakie time!
Photography During the Early Days
*Sigh* I just received the photos that Crystal took for us in the hospital and in a couple of photo shoots just after Isaac was born. Looking through them brought so many feelings and memories (yes, memories!) rushing back. I am so grateful to have these wonderful images of the early days of Isaac's life. We are lucky to have a good friend who could take photos--gorgeous photos--for us. My favorites come from the hospital--Crystal did an amazing job of capturing our new family's love and joy. Those first days are fleeting and we're fortunate to have a few images to remember them by.
If you are in Boulder, Denver or the surrounding area, I highly recommend Crystal Overdeck. Not only is she a phenomenal photographer, she's also a nurse in the NICU, so she is great with newborns!
Here are a few photos that I absolutely adore:

Isaac and Grandma Cheri
Grandma Cheri made it for a super quick weekend to meet Baby Isaac. The snowstorm that hit Colorado this weekend cancelled flight after flight, but fortunately Grandma's plane made it in safe and sound. We were so glad to have her here this early in Isaac's life. He's growing so fast, he'll be a completely different baby the next time she sees him (and that's only a month away!).
Looking forward to seeing you again soon, Grandma!
Meeting "Aunt" Jessie
"Aunt" Jessie came to meet Baby Isaac this weekend. Of course, we loved having her here, we always do. But this time was extra special. Jess and I have been planning our lives together probably since we could talk. Our plan was to marry in our early 20's (Jess said 25, I said 22) and then raise our babies together. Well, life doesn't always turn out how you planned for it to at age six, but I know that even if we aren't physically close to one another we'll stay close emotionally and we'll raise our babies together as best we can. Isaac is the first babe to be born between us, and I'm sure he'll have a little playmate soon enough.
Jess is a natural-born mama--her arms were like magic while she was here: she'd be holding a squirming or fussy Isaac one moment and the next he'd be asleep as she rocked him. Why can't it always be so easy?
You'll see in these photos that we got a bit of snow recently. That would be 27 inches of new snow in 24 hours. I'm just thankful I can stay put in my cozy home only to venture out for recreation in these wintry days. Oh, I'm going to miss stepping out my door and on to these trails with such ease when we move.
