These photos make my heart full and my eyes brim with tears. Baby. No. More.

This last one is so stinkin' cute. Isaac took off his jacket and then walked to the edge of the patio and stood holding his forearms, as if he was contemplating the big, wide world out there.

Snowshoeing Walker Ranch

Looking back at these photos, I almost forgot how terrible this hike truly was. Snowshoe equipment failure and a crying baby made this more of a get-back-to-the-trailhead-as-fast-as-possible sort of hike, than a meditative, peaceful zen sort of hike. But the photos are so beautiful, and they soften and blur the edges of the memory. Wasn't it actually a lovely hike, after all? 

LPL Easter Party

We got about nine inches of snow through the night, but Isaac and I decided to venture out despite the messy roads to celebrate Easter with LPL this morning. First, we took the token photo with the Easter Bunny. As you can see, Isaac is still very fearful of people in costume. Oh, what a mean mama I am to make him take the photo anyway. Muahahaha.

Miss Chris and Miss Gina even tried to coax Isaac into a photo op by giving him a candy-filled egg. But he knew better than to be tricked; as soon as he had that egg he was off Miss Gina's lap and back to a safe distance from Bunny.

After the photo shenanigans, the real fun began. 

An Easter egg hunt! (Better known to Isaac as a "ba"--ball--hunt!)

And egg dyeing! Isaac had so much fun dyeing eggs and he was not happy about stopping.
