First Camping Trip: Day 2

We had a long night filled with wakings more frequent than I care to remember. When morning arrived we all mustered up the energy--with a little help from Bongo Billy's--to slap smiles on our faces and head to Mount Yale for a hike. We made it one night of our planned two-night trip. It was enough for all of us!

First Camping Trip: Day 1

We took Isaac on his first camping trip near Cottonwood Pass this weekend. He seemed right at home at the campsite, playing in the dirt, watching the fire and snoozing in the Moby while mom and dad walked.

Shanahan Ridge Hike

Today was my first time back in the old neighborhood since we moved. Boy, being there was a lot harder than I'd anticipated. I can't believe how much I miss Shanahan Ridge. I know our new neighborhood will feel like home sooner or later, but it sure has some tough competition.
